COVID-19 Resources and Updates

Student Health and Safety is our Priority

We understand that many families have questions about COVID-19 and how that impacts the daily operation and procedures of Mercymount Country Day School. This page will serve to provide families with the latest information and guidance from our administration along with public health officials and agencies. These include the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH), Governor’s Office, and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

As always if you have specific health questions or concerns about your child we encourage you to discuss those  with your child's pediatrician. You may also review our general health service and policies and reach out to our school nurse for school related questions and guidance.

Remote Learning

While Mercymount plans to make every effort to provide in-school learning this academic year, we have contingency plans in the event public health guidance requires a switch to partial or full remote learning.  In this event, access to class resources, policies, and procedures can be found on our REMOTE LEARNING PORTAL.

Mercymount Country Day School requires parents to sign and return the MCDS Attestation Agreement.

This agreement confirms your adherence to using the MCDS Screening Checklist prior to sending your child to school each day.

After an illness please complete the After-Illness Return Attestation form prior to your child returning to school.

Please review the COVID-19 Information for Families document for step by step guidance on handling cold symptoms this year.
