  • Uniforms are purchased through Donnelly's Clothing. Purchases can be made online or by placing an order at the store. Store visits require an appointment.
  • A detailed description of the uniform code is available at Mercymount Uniforms.
  • Since all students have gym twice a week, it is recommended to have 3 school uniforms

  • Preschool/PreK teachers recommend shoes with no laces.

3. What does my child need to start school?

  • Hot lunch is not an option for Preschool/PreK as the children eat in the classroom. A morning snack, a drink and a lunch are required daily. Teachers recommend using containers that are easy to open for the children (i.e.: Bento Box).
  • All classrooms are peanut free.

5. Is there a Before and After School Care Program at Mercymount?

● Before and After School Care will be using ProCare for the 2024-25 school year.
Times, price and staffing will remain the same.

6. How can I volunteer?

Mercymount relies on parent volunteers for a variety of school functions. From daily lunch duty to fundraising to sports coaching, there are numerous ways to donate your time. Volunteering is a vital way parents, grandparents, and caretakers can experience their child’s education and contribute to the community. When you volunteer, you get to see the Mercy values in action and provide an invaluable asset to our community.

Whether you can volunteer occasionally or as part of your daily/weekly routine, there is a place for you to be involved!

All volunteers must complete the Safe Environment Training. Training is renewed every 3 years.
Please complete the following steps to volunteer:

1. View the Safe Environment Slideshow
2. Print and complete the Safe Schools Form
3. Submit the following to csimas@mercymount.org
a. Safe Schools Form
b. Copy of front and back of your state issued ID
c. Written statement of the date you viewed the Safe Environment Slideshow

Sport coaches need additional training through CAL (Catholic Athletic League) and Play Like A Champion. Do your Safe Environment Training first (before the season begins!) and information regarding CAL and PLAC training will come from the Sports Committee.
