“A Day in the Life of a Mercymount Mustang” gives prospective students an opportunity to visit the school for a day, "shadow" a class, and participate in the days activities. It is a great opportunity for students (and families) to obtain an inside perspective of our school, the educational philosophy, values, and daily operation. Shadow Days are established on a mutually agreed upon date between the school and prospective families and are available from October through May. Shadow Days are reserved for those students who have submitted an application.

Mercymount generally holds an Open House in October and then again in January (generally during Catholic Schools week). Our open houses offer a wonderful opportunity to tour our campus, visit classrooms, and speak with our faculty. All tours are conducted by our Middle School students, offering parents a first hand opportunity to view the school through a students perspective. All tours end in our expansive media center where refreshments are served and families have an opportunity to mingle and talk with our administration on a range of school topics. Children are encouraged to attend.

 

This is a new family favorite! Our summer Ice Cream Social (hosted by our Parent Association) is a perfect opportunity for all new families to meet and have all your last minute questions answered by our faculty and host families prior to that first day of school. Did we mention our make your own sundae bar with homemade ice cream from our schools favorite ice cream shop - The Ice Cream Machine?

 

No worries, we have busy families too! You can always inquire about a private tour or schedule a virtual appointment (via Zoom) that works with your schedule. We also have an active presence across multiple social media platforms if you'd like an immediate glimpse inside our school.
