Students play violins on the campus of Mercymount

Mercymount offers a wide variety of opportunities for the students in the areas of fine arts.  Students in grades prekindergarten through grade eight all attend weekly music class and students in kindergarten through grade eight attend weekly art classes. Grade four and five have the opportunity to participate in a chorus class as well.

In addition to our fine arts classes, we offer students an opportunity to take violin lessons after school.  We also have band lessons with the possibility to learn how to play flute, clarinet, trumpet, trombone, Alto saxophone, or combined percussion.

Our middle school students have the option of participating in the musical production each year.  In past years, they have performed High School Musical, Annie, Lion King, and Wizard of Oz.

Each year we host a Fine Arts Night at Mercymount.  During this night, student artwork is displayed around the school and there are live performances from our violinists and chorus members.
